Ayurvedic Cooking

This cooking class introduces people to vegetarianism and how to choose and prepare foods according to Ayurvedic principles. Cook and eat a selection of Ayurvedic foods and learn the benefits of using the correct herbs and spices in a fun friendly atmosphere.

Ayureveda 2- year Certification (online)

For health care professionals and those interested in a full or part-time career in Ayurveda, you can earn a 2-year certification as an Ayurvedic practitioner through the International Vedic Institute (IVI).  The 2-year (part-time) or 1 year (full-time) Ayurvedic training covers theory, therapies, spiritual foundations of healing, and hands-on training. Therapies include, herbology, nutrition, pulse diagnosis, aromatherapy, yoga, meditation, mantra therapy, music, colour, and gem therapies, vastu (pre-cursor of Feng Shui) life-purpose (dharma) counseling, spiritual counseling, and much more. This IVI program has received full board certification and accreditation by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and allows graduates to practice in Australia.

Ayurveda Massage course for massage therapist

Ayurvedic massage therapies are much more than just a means to relax muscles and calm the mind. They are first and fore-most, powerful stress management tool that reopens blocked energy channels and balances psychophysiology. Ayurvedic Colour Healing

Colour therapy balances the body both mentally and physically through the sense of light. Ayurvedic treatments also make use of the healing properties inherent in colours. The seven bodily tissues and the seven biotypes in Ayurvedic physiology are often correlated to the colours of the rainbow. Colours provide emotional strength, creativity, stimulates digestion and circulation. If misused, colours can cause disturbance, depression, lack of appetite, increased toxins, mental hyperactivity, and a weak aura. Learn how the colour of food, drink, clothes, decor, colour & gem meditation in correlation to astrology can be used as simple healing methods.

Indian Head Massage

This Indian Head Massage course is an introduction for those non-therapist to learn a simple, but effective non-invasive massage technique and for the experienced massage therapist it gives them an opportunity to introduce massage to clients who would not have previously tried massage. This treatment is given fully clothed in a comfortable chair. It can be carried out anywhere any time; in the UK it has become popular on-site massage therapy in the workplace for stressed out executives, it is also used by airline massage therapist for "in-flight" massage for the tired traveller. A qualified osteopath Narendra Mehta introduced Indian Head Massage to the west over 20 years ago. He popularised Indian Head Massage in the UK and USA, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Canada, and Japan.
